A Brief History

Rockingham Special Vehicles is a motor vehicle dealership that started March 2009 selling quality pre-owned passenger and light commercial vehicles. Over the following year the business rapidly grew and it was decided to expand into new vehicle sales. Late 2010 the company purchased an adjoining property and took on new car franchises SsangYong and Geely and soon after Isuzu Ute and Isuzu Motorsports.

This was the catalyst to start service and parts departments in the new complex. Early in 2011 another property was purchased and second used car sales yard called The Vehicle Warehouse begun operating.

How and why the business started

Nathan Bergmans is the owner and manager of the business. Nathan has worked in various motor vehicle dealerships most his life, and enjoyed the dynamics the industry offers in terms of challenges and rewards. Holding various managerial roles over the years Nathan decided it was time to move on, work for himself, and run his own business.

An opportunity arose where he could purchase land located at 5 Beale Way Rockingham and he jumped onto the opportunity. From there Nathan quickly developed the business where it is today and has plans to develop the business further.
